Q: Are you associated with a church denomination?

A: We are a Christian, non-denominational camp. As a non-profit organization, we are led by a board of directors and staff who are active in a variety of Christ-believing churches across different denominations.

Q: How can I find out the cost to rent the facility?

A: Each event is unique, and costs will vary depending on which buildings you reserve, the number of guests, and whether meals are included in your package. Q: Can I rent the facilities for a wedding?

A: At this time, our facilities are not available for weddings. The only exceptions are occasionally made for summer camp staff alumni.

Q: What are your beliefs?

A: At Hidden Acres, we hold to the historic Christian faith and affirm these core beliefs:

  • The Bible – We believe the Bible is the verbally inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).

  • God – We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; John 10:30, 37–38; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 4:6).

  • Jesus Christ – We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and personal return in power and glory (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35; John 11:25; Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11–16).

  • Humanity and Salvation – We believe all people are sinful by nature and in need of salvation, which comes only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Romans 3:19, 23; John 3:16–19; Titus 3:5–6).

  • The Holy Spirit – We believe in the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers and enables them to live a godly life (Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18; 1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

  • Resurrection – We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved to eternal life, and the lost to eternal separation from God (John 5:28–29).

  • Unity – We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Galatians 3:26–28).

  • Creation – We believe that God directly created humanity in His image (Genesis 1:26–28; 5:1–2).

On Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality

  • We believe God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, and together these two complementary genders reflect His image (Genesis 1:26–27).

  • We believe marriage is designed by God as the union of one man and one woman in a lifelong covenant (Genesis 2:18–25; Matthew 19:4–6). Sexual intimacy is to be expressed only within this covenant relationship (1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2–5; Hebrews 13:4).

  • We believe any sexual activity outside of biblical marriage is sin, including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, incest, bestiality, and pornography (Matthew 15:18–20; 1 Corinthians 6:9–10).

  • We believe Hidden Acres staff, volunteers, and ministry representatives must uphold this biblical understanding of marriage, gender, and sexuality in their conduct, serving as examples to our campers, guests, and community (Matthew 5:16; Philippians 2:14–16; 1 Thessalonians 5:22).

Grace and Conduct

  • We believe God offers redemption and restoration to all who repent and trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness (Acts 3:19–21; Romans 10:9–10; 1 John 1:9).

  • We believe every person is to be treated with love, compassion, kindness, respect, and dignity, as commanded by Jesus. Hateful or harassing behavior is contrary to Scripture and not in accord with the mission or doctrine of Hidden Acres (Mark 12:28–31; Luke 6:31).
